Wickes Shipley

I have had the most amazing customer service today at Wickes Shipley branch. Despite having not brought the correct receipts and having created confusion around which product I wanted, Amar was brilliant helping me pick the correct product as an exchange. As I was making my way home, I had a phone call from Amar who had noticed a discrepancy on the product SKUs and was concerned that I had still managed to select the wrong product. I said I would check it against the other fitting when I got home and call him to confirm. Thankfully it was correct but I’m embarrassed to say I forgot to call him to let him know. So, I got another call from him to make sure everything was OK - this was service above and beyond and was very much appreciated!!

Always a good experience coming here, also I've used many of their own brand tools in the past when money was tight but they have all outlived more expensive brands. I had a hammer drill which lasted 15 years of regular use. Can't fault them. Staff are always friendly, always plenty of stock.

Really impressed with the customer service here. I won't go into the detail but have had issues twice with a product and needed to ask for a replacement, both times they've gone over and above. I'm very grateful.

Most unhelpful assistant on a Monday morning! He didn’t seem at all interested in helping me and was unpleasant to a customer on the phone too! Won’t be visiting this store again.
