Very poor service from Myers at Skipton. I ordered some timber online on the Thursday but as i wanted some of it cutting i rang the branch who advised me to put the details on the notes which would be then actioned by the branch with the cutting equipment. This i did and I followed it up the next with a call asking if the order was being processed. The guy i spoke said to leave it with him. No phone call back so i called the following day to be told my timber had been delivered. I drove to the depot to find it hadnt been delivered and no notes had been passed regarding my cutting requirements. The guy i spoke to said it would now be done by the following Thursday(A full week later). No one rang me the following Thursday so i again rang the depot and spoke to someone who was going to check the delivery room and ring me back 10 minutes later. No ring back occurred so on friday pm i cancelled the order. The following Tuesday i received an automated email saying the order was cancelled. I have received no other contact from Myers. I can forgive people making mistakes but not being arsed to provide me with an update/explanation/apology is incredibly poor customer service. Compare and contrast. On Friday afternoon after giving up on Myers I went to Merritt and Fryers in Skipton. Within 20 minutes i was on my way home with all my timber cut to my requirements. Lesson learned.

I have used Myers Skipton quite a few times now. All the staff are very helpful whether in the depot or delivery person on site, always try to accommodate any specific needs or requests, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone, indeed, I already have. Well done everyone at Myers
