Given the choice of supermarkets in the Calder Valley, this is your best bet. Tesco at King Cross or Asda at Pellon are always, consistently awful. (I stopped using Asda because its just horrible) This Tesco is never too busy and is well stocked. Staff are great, parking is easy, there's no fast food delivery drivers blocking the entrance and it's overall, a much nicer experience.

It’s your standard super market experience. Most of what you generally need is there. You might pay more than other local supermarkets but it’s nearly always fully stocked.

Five stars for the lovely check out assistant Jackie, who went above and beyond to help me out on a busy Saturday morning 5/3/25. Although she was about to take over from another assistant and the young man in charge rudely told her to “go herself” when Jackie asked if he could help (manager or not you should still be prepared to take on another role if every little helps!). Thanks to you Jackie for responding correctly to a customer query in a caring and appropriate way😀
