Valleymead Guest House

My granddaughter and I had two super days here last week, in brilliant sunshine. The two rooms had everything you could wish for; they were furnished in an upstyled Edwardian way that perfectly suited Settle and Giggleswick - with neat little en-suites tucked into their corners. Shirley was a perfect Yorkshire host, welcoming us into her home. As the dining room was being redecorated, she had arranged breakfast for the two of us on the landing, beside a long, sunny window, giving us an extensive view down to Settle. A dish of fresh bilberries and raspberries finished off a perfect breakfast. We would instantly go there again!

It is my pleasure to say that these hosts and their home were a high point in our trip! They are very welcoming and fun to talk with. The place they have made ( home and garden) is beautiful.

Excellent place. Shirley and Robert are great hosts. The guest house is very, very clean. Simply 5 star. Highly recommended. I stayed with my wife for a few nights. I would gladly come here again.

Gorgeous accommodation in a perfect location. The two hosts are exemplary in every way. Good room. Only grouch is that it's a tad small. Two men each with a suitcase and rucksack. Didn't leave much space. But I'd definitely return
