Drake The Bookshop

Amazing little book store, first went there with a school trip. Took my mum and brothers today. They loved it, we had hot chocolates and my mum had a flat white, it was delicious. Excellent customer service from Richard. Thank you.

So pleased to find that Stockton-on-Tees has a wonderful book shop. Such a good range of books and such lovely friendly and helpful staff. You can even get a coffee. I will certainly be back very soon for more books. Certainly we'll worth a visit.

Loved this place. I have always just grabbed my books from Waterstones, but I thought I'd make more of an effort to support independent sellers. I am glad that I did! The shop with decorated really nicely, and it is a genuine pleasure to just wander around and browse. I had no idea what I wanted to buy, so I was in there for a good 25 minutes. The staff were kind and asked me if I needed help once and then just let me explore. I must have seemed a little strange! I ended up getting two books that I would have never have known about or bought otherwise.

Great place! I got in and found a book I have been looking for for some time. I asked the lady at the till if they had notebooks, she said only journals, and pointed me in the direction of another shop. And then I discovered another brilliant shop in this little alley. I haven't been to this alley before, now it is going to be a must when I go to Stockton High Street. Brilliant place, great service! Always happy to support local. I didn't have much time yesterday but at a glance looks like a wonderful place for children and adult book lovers alike! Stockton needed a place like this. Many thanks!!!

Great store, great staff, always so willing to help. Being able to order books in, and being able to preorder books makes it so easy. Just ashame there's not enough room for either of my wheelchairs inside/to get around inside the store.
