40 minutes parking only. Go over by a minute, get fined. Challenge the fine and end up paying 5x as much. Doesn't matter if they only have 1 checkout open or you're delayed for any reason. Will never visit again. Just get home delivery from a company that doesn't send bailiffs after you for going one minute over on the parking.

Great Tesco Superstore This is one of my favourite superstore in the country. Generally the staff in Tesco superstore is not so welcoming, but not here. In Thirsk for some reason they are actually really nice. Thanks again and keep up the great attitude!

Great location the store is clean tidy and almost always fully stocked! The team seems happy and are helpful. Also of note they have a wonderful little coffee shop that does coffee tea, baked goods and sandwiches!

Came in to this branch on Thursday 24 July 2025 And was blown away by the kindness of a member of this branch. I got to the till and began feeling ill as I’d recently had two knee replacements and by this time my painkillers had worn off. I asked this member of staff at the till Andy if he could get someone to help me put my groceries in bags. Andy was brilliant, he took me to a seat and promptly packed my groceries and asked if I needed a drink. He was so kind and efficient! I believe I would have been in a much worse state had he not acted promptly and professionally as he did. After he’d packed my shopping he got a member of the staff to take me to the car. If you’re reading this Andy a big THANKYOU for your kindness and going above and beyond for me.
