Good product at a good price. The store is kept to a reasonable standard. I didn't like the till staff looking for hidden products in and under our bags, just in case we were trying to steal something... we were told that management have told till staff to check everyone's. It seems odd to treat every customer as an opportunist thief

New curry range is epic people! If you like some tasty food

Today i visited my local Aldi store in Thornaby whilst there while reaching for a box of soup two of the large plastic containers of soup fell and hit me,i was literally covered in vegetable soup. Luckily I found a very nice man named Daniel who was horrified at what had happened. He arranged for another member of the staff also called Daniel to helped clean me up. Daniel who i presume was the on duty manager presented me with a beautiful bunch of flowers to show how sorry he was i was overwhelmed by the kindness shown to me today and thank both Daniels for their excellent customer service.

Extremely busy on the 23rd of December 2024 and was told it had been that busy since 7 am 👍 Glad I went for some shopping at 11 am as it would be even busier in the afternoon! Some staff were stocking the shelves like crazy to keep up with demands! I feel sorry for the staff especially around Festivities! I think most shop assistants and managers need to be praised! Some only get Christmas Day off work! Lets go earlier shopping and not at the last minute to cause lots of stress for food shops and supermarkets! It's nice to see certain food offered, goodies for the sweet tooth and various savouries to enjoy for a certain season! But I shop around here and there to fit my purse! Aldi got plenty of parking and on ordinary days Early mornings are not that busy! I don't go shopping in the evening as I wouldn't feel safe here in Thornaby!

There is ample parking to this store which is clean and all on one level. The store had a fantastic range of all produce available. The store is bright and spacious making the shopping experience easy and stress free. There are plenty of staff working throughout the store who are friendly and happy to help if needed. Everything i wanted from today's shop was available. The produce was fresh and well stocked.
