Oxen Close Farm

A fantastic little campsite with grass, hard standings and electric hook ups if required. Well kept flat and cut field for camping. The toilet block has showers, toilets, wash up etc and is always immaculate! Its a great base for Ripley, Pately Bridge, Brimham rocks, Studley Royal, Fountains Abbey, Harrogate, Ilkley and many more great little villages and places of interest. I cycle from here and its brilliant! It's very reasonably priced considering the nice facilities. The owners are friendly and you can walk to the nice Wellington pub across the public footpath in about 20-25 minutes. Theres a washing line and picnic bench too!

Excellent stay in Barney's Cottage during August. Very clean, spacious and comfortable with everything you could need (including wi-fi and a smart TV to keep a teen happy...) Loads of useful storage space. Peaceful location on the farm yet not too far from lots of places to visit. Owners very helpful, quickly sorting the one small issue we had. Recommended.

Lovely location approx 10 miles to Knaresborough. Slightly sloping site with EHU. Easy going and informal. Shower block has been well thought out and lots of hot water. Woild definitely visit again. Camping and caravanning club members only.
