Popeyes Louisiana Chicken

First time visit today, the chicken and chips were fresh and piping hot. The chicken strips and burger had real good flavours, the restaurant was immaculate. My only criticism would be the toilets were blocked. Would definitely return, one of the best fast food meals I've had in a long time, would recommend.

This place was great when it first opened. Portion sizes have been reduced, to the point the chicken tenders look like nuggets, and milkshakes are 3/4 full. It’s a fancy looking KFC with an inflated price tag. A shame really as was great when first opened. Think I’ll go back to the colonel, sorry

Had a great meal at Popeyes! The chicken was perfectly seasoned and crispy, the sides were tasty, and everything was served fresh and hot. The staff were friendly and efficient, making the experience even better. Definitely a place to satisfy your craving for delicious, comforting food!

Ordered from this place for delivery. Big mistake. The delivery time kept changing so an order from 13:51 came at 17:19, and you could tell that the food had been sat there the entire time. The buns were solid and the coating on the chicken was soggy and gray. Well it would be if it was kept in the warm shoot for 3 hours, thought that they'd at least redo the food but this obviously hasn't happened. They've cut their biscuits in half too, made them half the size but maybe not changed the cooking time because they are not enjoyable anymore. They arrive like little pucks the last 5 times I've tried to order them but im fed up with giving them a chance now. It was one of the things that made this restaurant unique and they've completely ruined them but chopping the tops of them so they can make or sell more or whatever. But they are always hard and not enjoyable and never fluffy on the inside. Suppose they changed it after the first couple weeks of opening. I've ordered from them another time and they couldn't make the louisiana burgers like they advertised, apparently one of those only has chicken and bbq sauce and nothing else that it says its supposed to. I'm really confused as to how they've got such a high rating on Google because they've got such a bad rating on Just Eat, and from the reviews it is because they focus and on certain customers and offer free ice cream in exchange for them leaving a 5 star review. In some instances the server actually standing there whilst they leave their review so they can get there free ice cream. Very shoddy that instead of making good food and providing service good service you solicit reviews and send out rank food that has been made hours before delivery. You had a fresh start in wakefield and you completely ruined it for yourselves

Excellent service and good quality, that’s my second time I visit this branch and in the two times I came here it’s just as perfect as expected to be. And both times we had an outstanding experience of service from Paramita the shop floor assistant, so helpful and friendly. And the best thing is that the chicken is halal which isn’t something we come across very often. Overall it’s the best place we eat fried chicken from to the point that we drive here all the way from Hull City. If there is one comment I have it would be “Please open a branch in Hull soon!!!”. Thank you for the excellent experience.
