The place is clean and tidy with a large selection of frozen and fresh goods. I found it expensive compared to other rivals like Farmfoods. Some items were reasonably priced, but I found it hard to find a bargain unless it was a yellow sticker-reduced item. Word of warning: Check that your reduced item has not gone through as full price like my item did because they don't cover up the original full price barcode and they stick the reduced barcode on the opposite side of the product. I've never seen a shop ever do that, so check before you leave the store. All in All, It has a good variety of frozen foods along with fresh and dried items, but it's slightly expensive, like everywhere is.
Great place to do a shop and some of the offers are very good. Staff are friendly enough and willing to help if you need assistance. I go in here most days on my lunch break to get a few bits for the coming days ahead.
Decent store, well stocked, clean & tidy. But be warned items on sale on shelves don't go through till at sale price. I questioned a price today, was told it was 40pence more than shelf price so walked back into store saw my price was correct & got a member of staff to sort it Luckily I only had a few items. SHELF PRICES AND TILL PRICES NEED TO BE THE SAME, CUSTOMER SHOULD NOT HAVE TO CHECK EVERYTHING.
Bigger, but not as well stocked as the Snow hill Food Warehouse. Poor store layout, particularly for plant based and dairy free options. Shelf-stable plant milk was wedged behind a pillar so I couldn't even get a carton and the selection was limited to one brand and two milks. One single half-size freezer with plant-based products, crammed full but with a tiny selection. No dairy free fridge as far as I could see. The Iceland on Kirkgate is better and even the tiny Farm Foods in Normanton is better. Very disappointed.
A very good rage but stay away from the fresh veg and meat
