The Old Smythie Restaurant Wentworth

A very cute and unique place to eat. Good, friendly service and a varied menu. Glutenfree options could be better - we did ask for it in advance though. It could also have been a bit cosier and warmer on a December evening.

Lovely place to eat, the staff were lovely and very accommodating. I only took a star off because the vegetables were a little on the hard side. The rest of the turkey christmas dinner was fantastic. I'd have given 4 and a half if I could. I'd definitely go again.

First time diners at this restaurant and left very very impressed The quality of the food was excellent and service was also very good and timely. It was not very busy at the time we dined but had no complaints. Not the biggest menu that you would normally get in a restaurant but what there was was very varied and had something for all tastes. The prices are very reasonable as are the bottles of wine. All in all very good and will definately visit again.

What a lovely little restaurant! We attended for lunch today and will be returning (definitely want to try the sunday dinners!). The waitress was very attentive and welcoming. I think we met the owners who were also very friendly and great with our toddler who was also with us. Great home cooked food, possibly paid a little more than a pub but well worth it for the location and quality of food, and we love to support a local business rather than a chain! Looking forward to coming back!

Popped in for lunch as a treat. Nice menu not over priced. Friendly staff. Nice seating area for a sunny day but we sat inside. Well worth a visit and glad we choose it.
