A regular aldi make sure you check the dates as their fresh produce often isnt fresh

Poor customer service and impolite till operator. Last Saturday, I went to Aldi Handsworth to do my weekly shopping. I was looking for coconut fennel for sometimes and could not find it and ask for help from more than three staff members. They were busy with shelf filling and not concerned about my request. It took more more than 15 mints to wait someone who is show me the product. Eventhough person who came was not interested helping much. No friendly customer service. I was looking for some stuff and couldn't find it. Then I left some stuff I don't need. Someone from Till ( Lorenzo) was shouting at me very rudely and asked “ what you drop there”. He was very loud And impolite. I was very unhappy and explained him do not shout at the customer. He was not listening and keep argue with me. Feel very uncomfortable, even the manager who came was not listen to us. Name of the Till operator was Loranzo and he came outside of till to argue with me. He did not know any common sense about speaking customer with friendly and polite manner. He said he going to check the cctv. It make me irritated and asked to check the CCTV. He than tried to change the topic. I think it’s all because of my dark skin. The manager who came did not manage to help us either. It was waste my time. Then I went to Handsworth ASDA to get the same product, staff was very friendly and cooperative to help us. Three member of the staff coordinate to help me to find the product we need. It was very convenient as the customer. I hope ALDI Handsworth will concern to improve customer service rather than shelf filling, respect every customers with dignity, friendly service and not ignore customers. With this review, I have attached my shopping bills for both Aldi and Asda. Attention for manager, please read all below customer reviews about poor customer service and make it improve as your prices.

Great food and unbeatable prices that's for sure. Another thing is Aldi always got nice big parking spaces compared to the other shops / supermarkets...

We shop her at least once a week and the things we want are usually in stock and the shop is kept tidy and clean. They could do with a bit more staff on the tills on busy days (weekend!).

Went to aldi handsworth Sheffield 30/5/25. Been going to aldis for 40 years plus, never a problem always good,however tonight I encountered the assistant from hell. The cash and card self service point on the right decided that it wanted card only after I had put everything through. The assistant?said to go to a till and took the trolley thinking it was very amusing . He ordered me to wait with a massive smirk on his face which I thought was very rude and I told him so and to take the shopping back. He then smirked even more and thought it very funny to upset customers. I had to leave, otherwise I would have knocked the smile off his stupid face. Time was about 18:45. He was dark haired about early twenties. He had the type of face that you could slap all day without a tea break. Remembered I'd left my pound in the trolley when I got to Asda who now have a new loyal customer.
