Decent selection of beers available and lots of little areas to sit. Didn't eat so can't comment on the food. Nice charming pub and a very friendly and chatty barmaid who was lovely.

My flat (flat 16) have come every single Tuesday night, since we arrived at uni this year, for the pub quiz. It is genuinely the highlight of all our weeks as we absolutely adore it and have such a brilliant time. Shoutout to Sam (quizmaster) for brightening every Tuesday - we love you!!
Friendly staff. Nice variety of food on the menu. The fish, chips and peas were delicious.
Second time here in a few months and it is by far the best Sunday roast pub experience ive had in England. The meat cooked to perfection, succulent chicken, tasty potatoes, great purple cabbage and York pudding to perfection. Service is very very good especially for a pub. Atmosphere traditional and lovely decor.
