Popped in for an evening warm drink and desserts. Most other venues were noisy, no food available etc but Zizi's were welcoming and the drinks and puddings were fantastic! Music was tasteful and low volume, decor great low lit but not dark, staff welcoming and friendly. If you want a quiet chat, lovely evening sweets and great choice of drinks in York after 7pm this is the place to go!
Enjoyed a delicious meal here this weekend with my boyfriend. One of the tastiest pasta dishes I’ve ever enjoyed at a zizzi’s and I tend to order the same one every time (spaghetti chorizo carbonara, if you know you know). Our waitress Caz was fabulous and couldn’t do enough for us, the hot chocolate shot at the end topped off our top notch day in York!
Great lunch offer, setting and fantastic staff. Thanks to Shelby for making our visit enjoyable, and the smaller spoon so my hubby couldn't rob all the ice-cream 😅
There were 9 of us celebrating my husband’s birthday. He received some free drinks from the Manager which was a lovely touch. The food was very good. Our waitress was really nice, few delays with things which wasn’t expected as the restaurant wasn’t very busy. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. It was very cold every time the door opened and took a while to warm back up again.
Caz was an amazing server! Her reccs were absolutely brilliant, 10/10 service, calzone a little burnt but excellent service either way 👍
