Staff are completely obsessed with their own tasks and conversations with other colleagues. The is no urgency to help or serve customers. This has been going on for months with a certain female member of their staff. As the service is still so bad, left and went to Tesco 30 yards down the road. Would recommend all do the same as you are recognised as a customer with them. What a disgrace for Sainsbury's Local.
Store is clean and tidy, usually well stocked and is in a really convenient location with good opening hours. However, it isn't very well optimised if you’re looking to use smart shop, and staff - particularly the girls on evening shifts - tend to loudly chat and gossip to each other via their headsets. The fact they’re always mid-conversation makes it a little awkward trying to ask a question or get help on a self scan till (often need to go looking down the isles for someone to help). I recently asked a girl if they stocked a certain item - her reply was blunt with no apology or friendliness. Then it was straight back to chatting with her colleague after answering. Decent store for grabbing what you need but I’ve come to expect pretty rubbish customer service sadly.
Nice convincing store.
Not the best customer service. Member of staff at the counter surly and offhand.
Excellent shop. Convenient location, wide range and good stock of items. Staff was friendly. The shop was clean.
