Next to the cathedral there is a sign that says "York". You can take a selfie with your friends or family here. There are also many bars next to this sign. There are also some outdoor seats. You can have a refreshing beer while enjoying the scenery and the music played by holiday street performers.

My visit to York immersed me in the city's rich history and charming medieval atmosphere. I explored iconic landmarks like York Minster, one of the largest Gothic cathedrals in Northern Europe, and wandered through the narrow, cobbled streets of The Shambles, with its timber-framed buildings. A stroll along the ancient city walls offered fantastic views of the city, while a visit to Clifford's Tower provided a glimpse into York’s Norman past. I also experienced the vibrant local culture, from quaint tea rooms to cozy pubs, all within a city steeped in history.
