Really, really not good. Popcorn and drinks are super expensive. It was completely empty, which was very odd. The toilets were a mess. The screen had creases in the fabric, and there was a clicking sound coming out of the speakers the whole way though. I wouldn't go again.

Cineworld York is a nice cinema. Its clean and it has recliner seats, IMAX and extended dual side screens. Staff are respectful and good at service. Worth watching film. But, its timings is in a short window as it opens late and closes early, needs changes. Also its location way far from city centre is another downside. However, there is ample parking place unlike the city cetre.

Went to Cineworld at Monks Cross York to see the new Danny Dyer Christmas film. It was during a weekday afternoon so the cinema was very quiet. The cinema is ideally positioned on the outskirts of York so no fighting through city traffic. We found the staff very helpful and courteous. There was ample free parking and we enjoyed the day.

A bit out of town because of the “nothing higher than the Minster” rules in York. A bugger to travel to from the centre. Saw - I SCREAM - excellent film. The whole place for a Wednesday night was a bit deadsville gulch.

Came here to watch the new wicked film. We have been here many many times to see different films. The only downside I see is that's it's always a bit cold. So I do bring a blanket with me. The screens are great. Only a could of negatives.... The toilets aren't that clean and so smell a bit and there seems to be a lack of staff. No one ever comes in during the film to check so we have had a couple of insistences where people have been messing about during the film and I've struggled to find a staff member to help. Other than that it's a good place to go
