Great cinema experience but it is expensive, we weren’t a member and the tickets cost us thirty quid! Will never forget this expensive movie
Lovely cinema in an excellent location! Been many times and thoroughly enjoyed our time but recently we had the pleasure of eating there too. The food is outstandingly delicious and great value, so much so that we will be back to eat there regardless of if we have a cinema booking. The cafe/restaurant is a beautiful setting by the river. Staff are very hard working and friendly. Highly recommended
Love that I can bring barista coffee and cake into the cinema. All bought on site at their cafe. There is also a bar and meals can be ordered and eating in restaurant/ cafe. Comfortable seats in the cinema.
Stopped for a drink. £18 for 2 pimms and lemonade asked if I wanted fruit adding said yes, expecting strawberries etc but got a slice of lemon. They don't do cocktails. There was a pretty woman wearing a home made green dress outside, which was nice
Best place in York for a sunny drink with a view of the river....BUT! Expect slow service, tables left dirty and a queue at the bar. It doesn't stop me returning, but there could be improvements! Edit: Chilled white wine is hard to come by here.
