Manahatta York

We booked a bottomless party at Manahatta for our work Christmas party and were extremely disappointed. We were told our 2-hour bottomless would start from when the first round of drinks was ordered, however the waitress didn’t come to take our first order until 10 minutes past the hour. After that, because we were two tables joined together, the second group didn’t even get to order drinks during one of the rounds, meaning they completely missed out. In total, we received only 5 drinks during a “bottomless” session, which realistically worked out as about 1 hour 30 minutes instead of the full 2 hours we paid for. When we raised this at the time, we were told that because the bill had already gone through, they couldn’t give us another round. Eventually, the manager approved a final round, but unfortunately the waitress brought an alcoholic drink instead of the requested 0% prosecco, meaning the other table missed out yet again. This was especially disappointing as I’ve been to Manahatta several times for bottomless brunch/parties and have always had a great experience — attentive service, regular refills, and a much better atmosphere. Previously we’ve been seated upstairs where you could actually have a conversation and drinks were topped up as soon as they were empty. This experience was completely different. For the price paid, the value was shocking — there are far better bottomless options elsewhere. Revolution and Slug & Lettuce are both significantly better for the money. Sadly, after this experience, we won’t be returning.

We went for bottomless bruch and it started off very slow with setting up the table, ordering food and drinks etc. But it got better later on. Delicious food.

I had an amazing experience at manahatta in york. I booked a bottomless brunch with my friends it was amazing. Are server was Ezzy she was so nice and such good service. She was so friendly with everyone i really recommend. Will be coming again x

The service was awesome, very attentive and the food was great. But, there was literally the 2 of us in the whole bar almost all night. TBF, we were there for a chat and a catch up, so it worked for us, but did mean the atmos was a bit flat. No reflection on the bar or the staff. Would definitely return.

Had a great night here; happened on it by chance, the manager showed us the 2 new karaoke rooms they’d just had put in so we ended up staying for an hour to try them out! Great find!
