Great gym! Flexible membership, and very competitive annual options. I just needed a month's worth so it worked brilliantly. The gym space has lots of equipment and plenty of room - plus plenty of items to meet my physiotherapy needs.
DNA gym is absolutely fantastic, especially for students. It’s conveniently located near the university, and the pricing is incredibly affordable considering the quality and range of equipment available. Nothing gimmicky here, just solid, no-nonsense equipment for people who are serious about training. At the same time, the atmosphere is super welcoming. It’s never overcrowded, and it’s just a genuinely nice place to spend time in. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for a serious yet friendly gym that won’t break the bank, this is the place.
Going to DNA gym has been a constant source of joy for me over the past year. Dustin and the whole team have created the most welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, with a great selection of equipment for people of all abilities, making it a really lovely space to work out in. I couldn't recommend joining DNA more (the absolute best and most reasonably priced gym in York!), and I shall miss it greatly when I leave the city.
I bloody love this gym. I always feel motivated to go to this gym and it has a very friendly tight knit community. Great functional equipment and a great place to develop yourself especially if working toward a professional sporting environment.
Couldn’t recommend DNA Gym more. I was always nervous to start at a gym, but Dustin has created such a welcoming, friendly environment. The wide range of equipment is great and overall would say to anyone looking to start out at the gym, or looking for somewhere new, to head to DNA Gym.
