Visited here on my recent trip to York. Its just located between Clifford's Tower and Fairfax House. Entry was £7 which was reasonable considering it was for two people. The museum itself has a fascinating collection of weapons varying from different eras especially a lot to do with the Royal Dragoons itself hence the name of the museum. I thoroughly recommend coming here if your a History or Military buff. Great stuff guys!!
Had a great visit to this well self guided museum. Staff are friendly, approachable and very knowledgeable and rhe exhibits are very well maintained. If you are in York this is a must see
This is a fantastic little military museum which doesn't get the recognition it deserves. Well worth a visit. Displays are cleverly set out, interactive - clean.
Visited here Saturday for coronation, was a nice museum, was lots to look at and many things for kids to interact with. The history was very well presented and the place looked clean & tidy. Staff were very friendly too, Will was a delight to talk to and very knowledgeable.
Beautiful displays. Very quiet, too, so was able to properly take in the exhibits
