Very pretty to visit on a sunny day, and to listen to the wild birds. A musy visit for any nature lover. There's the park and ride shortly close to the bog as well as a small (free) carpark.
A quiet circuitous board walk of about 20 minutes. Lovely and so accessible. Why haven’t I done this before? A very welcoming little wren greeted me also saw wagtails
We went late evening and had the place to ourselves. Saw these deer. Great place, have been back many times.
A peaceful afternoon spent walking round the bog. Spring is approaching as you can see the snowdrops appearing and some shoots coming through the soil! A great place to unwind and walk with my dog!
Great little nature reserve, free car park. Little is the word though, we went with the kids and was round it in less than an hour. Tis lovely so do recomend just smallish. Graet with smaller kids or if your interested in wildlife.
