LOVE it here, only about 30 mins on a very nice walk to York, lovely and quiet at night, but there is a lot of building work going on nearly that we can just about hear from the caravan. No facilities, just Elsan & water, but that's just the way we like it. Peacocks are lovely, too
Great site for visiting York centre. Our second stay this year. Both stays nice and easy, no hassle. A couple of miles walk to York centre, bus route available if you can't manage that.
We stayed here 1 night. Had a very peaceful evening. The location is very good for visiting the city of York either by bus or Uber (7 pound). The host is welcoming and friendly.
It is a relaxing place. You can hear the sounds of animals, surrounded by nature, a beautiful small vegetable garden, and the owner is kind and friendly.
We loved everything about this place! The railway carriage-style accommodations, built as faithful replicas of historic train cars, are beautifully designed, stylishly furnished, and offer every comfort you could wish for. Having a private garden and a hot tub made the experience truly special. The property also provides facilities for motorhome travelers, making it a perfect spot for everyone. The atmosphere is peaceful and the hosts are wonderfully welcoming. Highly recommended for a unique and relaxing getaway!
