Love it here. Very convenient for York with regular bus, just across the road. Poppleton is beautiful. With plenty of places to drink and eat. Site is incredibly well laid out and flat. Required no effort to level up after unhitching. Lovely views across the fields and nice and dark at night so you can see plenty of stars. There are some pitches along the road but dont expect that to be a problem. Thank you for providing a site you clearly love and enjoy making nice for those who visit.
1st Class caravan site in an excellent location, close to York City centre. Good Bus route into the City and walking routes nice. Site owners very welcoming. We will be returning again very soon.
This is no toilet or showers on this site. Caravan and motorhomes only. Does have electrical hookups and fresh water and toilet emptying. Electric is metered with a daily allowance once over that you do get charged on what you have used. Bus stop just a short walk from site. Bit hit and miss service as they use electric buses and sometimes buses are cancelled due to bus needs recharging.
Beautiful little gem of a site just outside York. Easy access to York on bus route and within walking distance of village pubs. Really helpful and friendly owners, looking forward to going back.
This is a fantastic small 👏 caravan site and very friendly 😀 plus it's easy to get into York plus lots of other things to do and see
