York Sport are the proud owners of two sport, leisure and fitness centres in the heritage city of York.
York Sports Village is home to a fantastic array of cycling, swimming and fitness facilities. Open to members and non-members, our competition-standard eight-lane 25m pool and 16m four-lane pool are amongst the best in the region and perfect for serious lane swimmers or families looking for fun. Swimming lessons are available for all ages.
We have significantly invested in cycling facilities and have a 1km closed road, floodlit, traffic free cycle circuit and an outdoor Olympic 250m Velodrome.
With the addition of 3G football pitches, spa facilities an array of classes, you're sure to find your perfect fitness facilities at your feet.
York Sport Centre is home to our racquet Affilliation which has been energised by the new facilities now offered to the University and the wider community. It is now the home of a new and expansive tennis programme to cater for all. Our Tennis Dome at York Sport Centre offers you year-long protection from the rain .We have four top quality squash courts available, plus two sports halls for Badminton and other racquet games.
We also have a Strength and Conditioning Suite with 12 platforms and a S&C coach. So, if you’re looking to kick-start your day with an early morning workout, or if you’re aiming to improve your physique with weights, we have a full collection of weights and equipment to cater for your needs.
