Roxy Ball Room York The Stonebow

A must go to for anyone who loves games and drinks all in one place. Atmosphere was amazing, the whole vibe was just amazing, we have already talked about visiting another location closer to home. We went as a small group of 4 for some drinks but definitely want to go back for the games!! The staff were lovely and attentive and did not overwhelm you. Drinks were super tasy and not too expensive for what you got. I believe we paid £8.95 for a cocktail but there were deals on others like 2 for £12, we also went ahead and ordered 12 shots for £30 which calculating at £2.50 per shot rather than around £3.50 individually. And the best aspect was the photobooth! Me and my friends love a good photobooth to capture memories! At £6 per photo strip we just had to! Especially as you cab download the images as well as a little slideshow/video. Toilets and Venue were also nice and clean which makes the experience all the better ❤️

We came here went on a night out in York and was definitely not disappointed! The whole place has a very modern, bright, exciting feel from the multiple interesting and fun games you can play to the bar with amazing choices. The staff were really friendly and helped us as much as they could, quick service, we didn’t have to wait for any of the games to start and found all of the games worked, and was left in a clean and tidy manner ready for the next person to play. Toilets were very clean, as was the rest of the bar and games areas. I think you pay a decent amount for the games and time, as you can genuinely spend a good few hours here and have a fantastic time.

We went to Roxy for a spur of the moment game of shuffle board which was good fun and got us out the rain. They have full sized tables and for the hour it was £20 which we thought was great compared to others we have used. Roxy in general has a great vibe with good music and glow in the dark/neon lighting. They do offer good and drinks but since we’d just came straight from dinner we didn’t have anything. A great place for groups/ couples.

Place looked really modern, tidy, and full of things to do... including beer pong, bowling, darts, shuffle boards, pool, and much more. Served food, which we didn't try but looked like it was decent, had a good menu, and a pizza bar. Staff were very friendly and easy to approach. However, when we were early and they had just opened so there was barely any one there yet. Anyone looking for some activities and games to play in york would definitely get hours of entertainment here.

Went here for hubby's birthday. Shuffleboard drinks and food package. Was good. Very quiet tho as we went on a Sunday
