I've been a member at this gym for a number of years now and it's the best gym I've been to! Full of the most friendly staff, other members, and amazing gym kit. Everyone is so lovely and welcoming, like a proper little community - how a good gym should be. Couldn't ask for more. It also feels so safe and everyone is willing to help when needed. Shout out to Becca the gym manager who always goes above and beyond, (including festive/holiday decs!) and making the place feel like a true home from home. Thanks for being the best x

Edit: Added additional screenshots in response to owner's response. The app lists my home gym as York, not Kidderminster. The membership shows no information about location. I also provided a screenshot showing that if you try to buy a 7 day pass from their website without selecting a gym, it will only allow you to buy a pass from the Wednesbury gym (which closed nearly 4 years ago and has since *burned down*). You have to meander through their website to find a proper page that allows buying a day pass from the gym you want. If your system has my membership under Kidderminster, then that seems to be an error with your system and not on my part. It's also worth mentioning the app listed on their website (24/7 Fitness Hub), the app listed on the signage at the gym (Gym X), and the app it directs you to download if you touch your phone to the NFC reader near the entrances (24/7 Tile Access) are *three different apps* for entering the gym. It seems the gym's management doesn't even know what app they want you to use. If as a customer, you're okay with a gym that still sells passes for a long closed location that is now an ashy heap, or that tells you in the app that you have a pass to one gym but their system has you holding a pass for another, or you want a gym that has multiple different apps, none of which will get you into the gym, then this is a great place for that. But if you want a gym with their house in order, then maybe try JD Gym or PureGym (both are nearby). ORIGINAL REVIEW: Tried to use this gym, but the app wouldn't let me in the door. If you're a 24/7 gym, making it simple and easy to get in the door after hours is really important – it should just work 99% of the time. I think this gym has failed in this regard. The app is the only method for getting in, and it has 1.9-star rating on Google Play for its shortcomings, many of the complaints being about troubles using it to get into the gym. Perhaps they need a backup method? I don't know. I'm sure it's a 5 star gym if you can actually get in the door. Becca on their team was very helpful too, so add a few stars for hiring good people.

Cancelled my membership after 2 years due to the closure of the womens only room. The glute machines which were upstairs previously have been crammed by the entrance and changing rooms where every single person walks pass making it very uncomfortable to work out in peace. Clearly I’m not the only one that is unhappy with the changes; went once after the “reno” to give it a chance and there was only one other female vs 30+ men which was never the case previously. The app is also incorrect as people come in groups and share their phones to enter ; app said 13 people were in the gym but there was 30+ people when I went.

Great gym, saved me during the post covid lockdown days. However, long lasting gym members have had their memberships go from £18 a month to £24 and now a staggering £34 just because the old equipment was finally replaced from the fitness first days. They could have us enjoy the new gear for Abit. The price is too high in regards to the fact this gym only had its saunas open certain days and hours, no swimming pools or extras are offered. I think this drastic price change will decrease the members as other gyms are offering more for what you pay for.
