Set in Scarborough’s beautiful valley, the Ashburton House is a family-run B&B that is just 10 minutes’ walk along the tree-lined Valley Road from the South Bay and town center. The B&B has its own off-street car park.
All of the charming and comfortable bedrooms have their own private bathroom and are well equipped with large flat TVs screen, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryers and radio alarm clocks. Every year at least one of the 8 bedrooms is fully refurbished.
Throughout the public areas, the B&B aims to capture the charm and elegance of the late Victorian period, during which the property was built.
The B&B offers an extensive breakfast menu and as well as serving a full English breakfast, also offers grilled kippers, smoked salmon and many other lighter options.
