Tastefully converted in 1984 from 2 Victorian townhouses, the hotel has now expanded to include 2 interconnecting houses of self-catering apartments and 11 more spacious quality rooms. It has its own private car park, and there is a lounge bar and three dining rooms where award-winning, home-cooked evening meals and breakfasts are served. Food is made from locally sourced ingredients, and light snacks are also available. This is our guests’ favorite part of York, according to independent reviews.
