We’re Joanne and John and we have opened up a corner of our dairy farm between the Yorkshire Dales and the Forest of Bowland. Three generations of our family live and work on the farm and we have put our hearts and souls into creating a bespoke, luxury ‘glamping’ experience for our outdoor-loving guests.

Our luxury pods are specially designed to be used all year round, with heating, insulation, double-glazing and indoor cooking facilities. Four of the five pods have private hot tubs with jets and LED lights. You will never feel the cold, or experience broken tent poles and soggy sleeping bags. This is glamping at its best!
At Peaks and Pods we welcome families, couples, friends, cyclists, walkers, countryside lovers and outdoor enthusiasts who want to experience an exciting new place to stay. The five pods each sleep four comfortably. They’re kitted out with either ensuite or private shower rooms, fully-equipped kitchenettes, pocket-sprung double beds, memory-foam sofa beds, wooden tables and chairs, decked areas, private outdoor spaces, fire bowls (for fire pits and barbecues) and outdoor dining tables. All pods now include luxury bedding and fluffy towels.
Visiting cyclists will find facilities for washing, repairing and securely storing their bikes on-site, and guests can even cook delicious fresh pizzas in our stunning wood-fired oven, available to hire for £15. There’s also a Little Laundry, where guests can wash, dry and iron their clothes. Guests can also relax in the covered social area at The Hub, with tables and chairs and lighting. The focal point is a large, sheltered social space where couples, friends and families can get together away from their pods and enjoy the open air and breathtaking views.
The space is sheltered by a skylight roof and the view is framed by chunky wooden posts and a perfect ranch-style fence to lean on. We’ve upcycled wooden cable reels, spare from our wind turbine installation, to provide tables and seating, along with colourful tractor seat stools. We’ve used festoon and fairy lights to create a lovely atmosphere and have installed coin-operated energy-efficient heaters to keep guests warm on the coldest of nights. There’s even a two-seater wooden swing seat – perfect for snuggling up with a couple of blankets and cushions while gazing into the fire pit. You can also connect to our free WiFi from The Hub.
We work hard to be a ‘green’ business and are Gold Award Green Tourism members. Electricity is provided by a wind turbine and solar panels, we encourage our guests to recycle, and we provide environmentally-friendly cleaning products in every pod.
We believe that it is important that you can tailor-make your own experience and offer special extras including fairy lights and bunting, or our Pure Luxury, Special Celebrations and Movie packages, with everything from wool blankets and popcorn pans to bottles of fizz.
