Pubs, Inns and Restaurants with rooms
Yorkshire is famous for its ales, northern hospitality and wonderful pubs full of nooks, crannies and cosy fires. Why not make yourself at home for a holiday in one of our welcoming watering holes? The perfect base for exploring Yorkshire's picturesque towns and villages - put your feet up with a pint by the fire, or enjoy sweeping country views from the beer garden. And of course, take advantage of the very short journey from the bar to your room at the end of a night enjoyed sampling the local fayre!
What's better than a sumptious meal followed by a night's stay in quality accommodation? Well, Yorkshire has it's fair share of excellent choices when it comes to this. Here are some highlights including some that were shortlisted in the 2019 White Rose Awards:
Manor House Lindley - The door to the Manor House is always open. Whether you wish to join us overnight, for a drink after work, dinner in the Lantern room, a glass of champagne on the Roof or to re-balance with yoga in the Studio – everyone is welcome.
Situated in Sandsend, one of North Yorkshire's prettiest coastal villages, Estbek House is the proud holder of two coveted AA rosettes for its restaurant. Only having four rooms Estbek is something a little different being a unique mixture of Georgian charm, well appointed & designed rooms and attention to detail second to none. Combined with an award-winning restaurant and the back drop of Sandsend, Estbek is now at the forefront of the region's accommodation.
The Angel Inn at Hetton has a long and illustrious history. As the original gastropub it has always led the way and done things a little differently. It seems perfectly appropriate that this legendary North Yorkshire Dales establishment continues to break new ground. The arrival of Michael Wignall in 2018 as chef patron put the tiny hamlet of Hetton firmly back on the culinary map.
The Star Inn at Harome - An historic C14th thatched inn with hospitality steeped in its very timbers, The Star Inn is located in the picturesque village of Harome on the edge of the North York Moors. It was taken over in 1996 by Andrew Pern and has since won nearly every award worth its salt for Andrew's 'Modern Yorkshire' cooking and his Inn’s warm hospitality, including a Michelin star held for the greater part of the last two decades. Andrew, who recently appeared on BBC’s’ Countryfile’ programme and was a Finalist on ‘Great British Menu’, is a great exponent of regional, seasonal cooking.
