Sneaton Castle is an excellent base for a whole variety of day and residential events including conferences, seminars, holidays, B&B, retreats, music, arts & drama and for walking and exploring the North Yorkshire Moors and Coast

We offer safe and secure parking for all guests, and there is ample space for children to play in a safe environment, with an original walled garden, nature walk and terraces.

Our dining room has a stunning display of Sutcliffe photographs. The food is home-cooked and delicious and the premises are fully licensed boasting a beautifully appointed resident’s bar lounge. We also have a small shop selling cards, books and local souvenirs.

Owing to its delightful location close to the centre of Whitby, Sneaton Castle Centre offers the visitor easy access to one of England’s most historical and beautiful regions, combining coast, moorland, hidden market towns and charming villages, untouched by the march of time.
