Originally a gamekeeper’s cottage for nearby Netherside Hall, The Gamekeeper’s Inn offers fine wines and traditional ales, including real ales from local Yorkshire breweries, alongside an extensive menu of home cooked food and light bar snacks.

Located at the heart of Long Ashes Park, it’s your friendly ‘local’ where friends and neighbours get together for a drink or to enjoy some hearty pub grub beside the roaring fire.

ACCOMMODATION

The Gamekeeper’s Inn has eleven stylishly designed en-suite bedrooms, making us the ideal destination for your holiday in the Yorkshire Dales.

Our rooms are named after the local fells and include creature comforts such as tea & coffee stations and a flat-screen TV, so you can relax and unwind in your room once you arrive back from a busy day in the Dales.

Our passionate chefs are on hand every morning to provide you with a cooked Yorkshire breakfast or something a little lighter from our breakfast menu if you prefer. Guests staying with us also receive complimentary use of our on-site leisure club including swimming pool, hot-tub, sauna and gym.

FOOD & DRINK

The Gamekeeper’s Inn combines exceptional service with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We pride ourselves on creating tasty, traditional, hand crafted dishes with a twist using locally sourced produced wherever possible.

Our Netherside Suite provides an idyllic setting for your celebrations, full of rustic charm, it’s features include exposed oak beams, a log burning stove, outdoor terrace and private garden. Providing formal dining for up to 140 guests and a reception for up to 200, the Netherside Suite can be tailored individually to suit your bespoke requirements. Our Civil Marriage and Partnership Licence means we can host wedding ceremonies as well as celebrations.

Our conservatory provides a relaxed dining destination serving tasty local produce.

Our bar area hosts an informal space to drink and dine, filled with comfy chairs, a glowing log fire and cosy nooks and crannies, perfect for pre-wedding get togethers.
