BP SPAR Ackworth Service Station

Just tried to drop a parcel to be collected by Yodel, empty collection bag but wouldn’t take my slightly large parcel that would’ve easily fitted and left plenty of room because..insert 101 different crap excuses.. from all three members of staff who just told me to go elsewhere because they are “saving the space for other customers”, whatever that means. Nothing to do with being paid by parcel. This is my local store but obviously greed is more important than morals to some.

Fuel prices are pretty competitive. Staff are friendly, and there's a good selection of food, drinks and other household essentials. They also sell international (USA) sweets and crisps. Some things are a bit pricey though.

It's OK and convenient, expensive however.

Loved my local BP Spar. Used it for years and years until they sent me a solicitors letter out of the blue threatening me with the police unless i paid for my fuel and £30 costs. Id given the cashier my pump number and confirmed the amount but she forgot to key it in the till and just took for the additional items i bought. She tried to sell me sale items on the counter and engaged me in conversation as i entered my pin. I didnt notice until i checked my bank. I rang them and its their policy to set solicitors on you regardless of circumstances and customer service/loyalty is zero. Its all policy policy.. Genuinely upset me and my family wont use BP Spa again and genuinely upset theyre treating me like a criminal because a busy cashier made a genuine mistake and i didnt notice.

Don’t have parcels delivered here to pick up!! I have been backwards and forwards a few times and no parcels Then I found out if they haven’t room for them they send them back with the driver! What a waste of my time !!! I won’t use the garage again!
