Shopped at Marks Spencer. More years than I can remember.. Being-of a certain age over 80 with no transport unfortunately will be unable to shop at Barnsley store now. Cannot manage to carry shopping backup the hill with heavy bags to catch my train…🥲

A great supermarket for food. The retail park that it's in though can get really busy, it's a shame that M&S isn't in the town centre anymore, and there are no toilets. Other than that, it's quite large with many assisted checkouts!

Big food hall store with decent range of products, its own bakery, a wine shop and an expanded frozen section. Open as part of the M&S strategy of closing larger stores in town centres and focusing on smaller shops in retail parks with click and collect services. Decent addition to this retail park but doesn’t help Barnsley town centres development.
