Costa Coffee

This is one of my favorite costa branch as it is very good place to work from, atmosphere is great and the view is also nice as it’s all glass to see outside from where you have your coffee. The staff were nice and friendly and he made my coffee as it should be, i also asked for an extra shot of coffee and they didn’t charge me for it. My drink this time was iced salted caramel frappe with two shots of coffee and cream on top. It was absolutely smashing. There is a parking lot outside the place which is outside Next.

I was at the Costa in white rose just next to M&S where I ordered a hot chocolate and a Spanish latte. I was served by an arrogant lady called SAM. Ridiculous attitude, no style of greeting or sense of customer service with a rude face. Did not wait for me to complete my order. The Spanish latte served by her was plain and bland, I always get a Spanish latte at costa. Ridiculous style of service with zero customer service sense.

Had to ask a member of staff to clear the table, who was very displeased to do so. Then had to ask same member of staff to wipe the table clean, who did so with dry kitchen roll!! They, "COSTA Coffee", charge higher than average prices, employ young adults, with no social skills, no common sense, and have no sense of pride in their work, resulting in very poor customer service. AND.......I was short changed by £2, even though the automated till displayed which amount of change should be given... And before you say, "well don't go there", we went to M & S 1st, but unfortunately the tills were broken at that moment... I look fwd to a response, however I don't anticipate receiving one! 😡

The staff here are friendly and helpful and the food and coffee are great as you’d expect Tom a Costa. There was a problem for a while on Sundays with several families meeting up there, fine, but letting their noisy and rude children run rampant and disrespecting other customers, but the staff have now dealt with that and my weekend coffee is once again a pleasure.
