Genuinely love this hotel - we come from Cornwall every year to watch a Leeds match - it’s a bit of a journey so when you arrive to a lovely welcome it means a lot! Kelly you’re a beaut! There is another dark haired lady I recognise who has been here for the last 3 years sorry I don’t know your name but you were both amazing and I thank you for yet another wonderful experience here x x The food is fabulous- the steak is better than I’ve had in bigger restaurants x x
It's a secluded spot, with nothing in walking distance. But with a car it's very convenient...with McDonald's close by, White Rose shopping centre, and Tesco's Metro. The view is non descript but can look nice when the sun sets. Service is welcoming with a smile ..which is rare these days. This makes all the difference after a long drive to be greeted with a smile...and a bit of chat. Checkout with a smile too. Good old Yorkshire hospitality! ☺️ Rooms are decent...not amazing but functional and clean. Nice and warm too. TV is a large flat screen. But the water coming out of the sink tap was scolding hot ...and took ages to go cold/or reach hand temperature...so that wasn't so great...no one likes to burn their hands. Bath tap is better but made a noise when the water was flowing out at times which was annoying. But the shower was powerful. Guests running up and down the corridor is also annoying as the sound travels into adjacent rooms. Car parking is a bit of a rip off...stayed 3 nights but the machine charges for 4 nights (£5 per day...even if the day is less than 24hrs!). But at least there's a lot of parking around the front and back of the hotel.
December '25 stay. Parking is charged at £5 per 24 hrs of your stay. A single payment machine is located outside the door. Unfortunately, the keyboard is not that responsive so be prepared to double check everything you type and take the parking charge into account when comparing hotels. Our room had two faulty bulbs. The bulbs were taken to reception. No spare bulbs in the hotel, so the staff decided it was easier to change our room. Unfortunately, they took our key card for the first room, so we had to repack in the dark. The bathroom fans used in this hotel are the noisiest I've ever come across. This was the case in both rooms. Worth isolating using the switch outside the room for overnight visits. Wouldn’t stay again. Room was clean enough, although the bed sheet didn’t fit our bed. Handy location for the Elland Road stadium; about a 20 minute walk. Only one towel between two of us in a triple room. The single hand towel had a large tear. This is our worst Premier Inn stay in many years of using their hotels.
Booked in here so that hubby could attend the Leeds v Liverpool game. Absolutely superb service from the staff. In all my years of travelling I have never had such excellent service. Food was great too.
Placed an order for breakfast, upon arriving was told that they’d cancelled my order because they didn’t have enough food in stock. At least let me know before I travel and arrive would be nice. Don’t stay here if you’re expecting to eat I guess
