Dalesway Brewers Fayre

Been here as part of the stay at the Premier three times now. Always good food and the service is good. Its only up the road from the Yorkshire clinic which is the reason for travel and stay each time for work. Really sad the only coffee machine was out this morning for breakfast though! I'd love to see healthier choices on the menu for dinner. When you stay away alot, you don't always want a solid dinner.

Service was awful. We were told on arrival there was a 40 minute wait for food. We still hadn't received our food after 90 minutes. Complained twice within this time and food was served shortly after 90 minutes. However it was still wrong. We were further compensated by staff but the overall experience was very poor. We waited almost 2 hours for food, starters and mains had to be served together. Hygiene of staff was also very poor. Your staff stink. There was no one supervising the soft play area. We didn't pay for soft play so at least we got 2 free unlimited spaces while we had to wait for the food. The food was nice when it eventually arrived but over all a very bad experience. Given we spent £65 just for food for 3 adults and 1 child, we won't be back any time soon. Coming here was a last resort because I know how bad the service has been before but after today we won't come back ever now. Really, really poor service. The female toilets near entrance had no soap and the hand dryer wasn't working. Just dreadful really. No other way to describe this place.

Outstanding service from the whole team. Super efficient but super friendly too. In spite of the restaurant being busy we were taken really great care of by Lee and his amazing team - Jess, Amy and newbie Kian. Super speedy service but still with time for a chat and a smile. Thank you for making us feel so at home. We wish you all every success. Great customer service and much appreciated.

My wife and I bring our grandchildren to the play area after school. With drinks for the children (£3.60 each) plus tea and coffee for us this comes to £17.30. Not cheap by any means. At this price I would expect the area to be spotlessly clean as it is an area where children are touching all the surfaces on a regular basis. However we have now been three times recently and the tables, chairs and floor have been very dirty with spilt food and drinks which have not been cleaned up properly. Today when we arrived my wife complained to the bar staff and the lady said she hadn’t been in yet and would come and sort it out. A young man came and wiped one table then left. No sign of the lady who we presume was in charge. The whole area is in need of a major upgrade as the padded chairs are in an unhealthy state as well as the flooring. We will not be visiting again unless drastic measures are taken to improve the experience for all.

Can't really speak on the rooms as we only go for food. But in the 2 years we've been coming regularly with that kids we've had nothing but great experiences. Helpful staff good food and clean and friendly environment.
