A night with the voice of Smokie

Chris Norman, celebrated for his role as the frontman of Smokie, is set to deliver a one-off concert that promises to transport the audience back to the golden era of rock. With hits like Living Next Door to Alice, I’ll Meet You at Midnight, Lay Back in the Arms of Someone, and If You Think You Know How to Love Me, Smokie has left an indelible mark on rock music. Chris’s unique voice and charismatic stage presence played a pivotal role in the band's success, making this concert a must-see for fans old and new.

Transition to solo stardom

Norman's talent extended beyond his work with Smokie. His duet with Suzi Quatro, Stumblin' In, marked his initial success outside the band, leading to a thriving solo career. In 1986, Chris embarked on his solo journey, achieving a major hit with Midnight Lady across Europe. His solo career has since flourished, boasting 21 hit singles and approximately 22 albums, with over 20 million records sold globally.

Celebrating 55 years in music

This year marks a significant milestone for Chris Norman as he celebrates 55 years in the music industry. To commemorate this achievement, he has released a new album, Junction 55. The album features 12 new tracks, all penned by Chris, with three songs co-written with his long-time friend and former Smokie bandmate, Pete Spencer. Chris reflects on the album’s title: "The title reflects the fact that I am at a new junction in my career and it has been 55 years since I turned pro."
