LaserZone

I came to LaserZone yesterday and played a game with my two young boys. Unfortunately, it was nothing like the game I played when I was young. Back then, the teams were small, each starting in different positions in a large arena, the game was then to quietly move around and take out the opposition team members and their base. We would get into various shooting matches with the opposition from a reasonable distance. Yesterday's experience was nothing like this, it was complete rubbish to be honest! Each team, yellow, blue and red all walked into the arena together and immediately started shooting at each other, this was before I even realised we had started. I feel there were far too many people in the arena, it was impossible to move away from the opposition who were obviously continually shooting at you. Everywhere you turned there were more people. There was no "game" it was just 30 plus people stood 2 yard away from each other continually shooting and been shot, which for me was a complete let down, boring and pointless. This is an expensive 20minute game. I do not recommend it

Customer service was excellent we were helped by Isobel who was also our marshal. She was great at explaining everything to us. When we were playing the game my brother who’s 5 didn’t really know how to play, but she took her time helped him shoot a few people and find a couple of bases so he didn’t feel left out. Would definitely go again, especially since the staff made it welcoming and took their time with us. We had an excellent visit. Thank you so much!!

I would just like to say what a fantastic team you have at Castleford. I have booked two birthday parties there this year and both times went absolutely perfectly. The party area was always tidy and big enough, the party bags are a great addition, the food was always spot on and the tables always well presented. The team were always happy and excited to see the kids and get them ready to game. Even the more shy members of our group were raring to go after meeting our party hosts. The games themselves ran really well and the arena is great. For one of the parties I sat in our party area whilst the group were gaming and I watched your team working. They are a credit to your company! Always making sure the area is clean and tidy, and the food area is spotless. There was always enough staff to keep the queue to a minimum and each gaming group seemed to flow through the gaming area seamlessly. You should be extremely proud of your team. We will definitely be booking here again for future parties. Thank you

A small party of 5, booked in online, needed to change the time to an hour later and the staff were very helpful and accommodating, they moved it back and hour - no issue (top customer service) The kids went in and had a great time, they were all allowed to be on the same team, and wanted to go again when they came out. We paid for the mini game and 4D mini golf combo, mini golf was next door. Good experience - thanks for hosting us ❤️ 🤩🚀👾

Great experience overall except I'm a regular costumer and booked mega mission which is 2 games and did not get a break as usually between the games I was wearing a sunflower lanyard but the changes was still not explained.
