Gravity MAX Castleford

After a first not so great experience, we were invited back today for another shot, I must say Will and Uzi went absolutely above and beyond to make sure our experience was 10/10. They gave a member of my family the confidence to ride again after a crash on the track previously. After this visit i would definitely return, the whole experience start to finish was way more than we expected and great value for money.

1st time trying E-KARTS left frustrated, we booked an adults session amd got put with children under 10yrs old. Then got slowed down constantly because I kept catching everyone up. Somehow managed to come dead last? The fact that they had to slow me down I didn't get a complete full lap. They told us after getting briefed there behind by 10 mins and ended up waiting another 30mins a huge lack of organisation I think consistent with other reviews. Staff on desk were lovely and rectified my issue immediately but the 1* is justified when im being slowed down and yet not once did i come close to anybody.

Visited with family. Booked online for 16:30. As per emails we arrived 30 mins before, and are checked in. We were given a receipt with 21:15 booking time crossed out and handwritten with 16:30. We go to the briefing video area at 16:15, and watch the video and pop out stuff in the free lockers. Walk down to the helmet area, and then wait another 30 mins with 3 other groups going before us. Something not right. Alert a member of staff who checks receipt and checks the system and comes back saying the 16:30 is the video brief time and our booking is 5pm. I told him it's not and it's 16:30 and we have been checked in since 16:00. It also says on receipt to go to the video brief area 20 mins before your slot which we did! We waited for the group on track to finish and then we are shown on, The service was good and the staff explained things well. Then the next mess up, the car numbers didn't match with the leaderboard! We were told which cars to get in but not based on the leaderboard which meant all the timings were wrong! Overall the racing experience was great and the family enjoyed it but the service wasn't great especially with the multiple errors specially when we follow the instructions.

Wow I’ve done normal go karting but this is a different level and to say it’s inside Xscape is amazing. Would highly recommend, they go pretty quick and with them being electric great acceleration A great few hours out

Complete and utter waste of money. 8 minutes of scheduled racing time and we must have spent about 2 minutes of that actually flat out racing due to constant yellow lights. £40 for me and my 12 year old Son for 2 minutes of racing. AVOID
