We love this volunteer-kept little patch of urban woods and wetland. It attracts and accommodates many birds. It's a peaceful little haven in the middle of town. Sadly it suffers from people littering or it would be 5 star for this nature lover. The locals who look after it deserve big thanks.

Lovely spots to feed ducks and go bird and squirrel spotting, however the litter all over the place does affect your walk, there's just so much of it.

A lovely bit of countryside in the middle of Castleford! Such a shame that many people don't respect it and dump their rubbish there.
