Mainly a grass field well kept by the council. There is a skate park here that doesn't look too demanding, so mainly for younger teenagers. The toilet block as been closed for a few years , mainly due to vandalism and the outside walls are full of graffiti. There are no seating areas, mainly because of vandalism I presume. A tarmac path runs through it from Love Lane to Leeds Road following what appears to be a old rail line?. There is a small car park, The area appears to be used by dog walkers and very young skate/ scooter boarders. When in it's heyday it must have been well patronised because a park wardens house is still there and lived in , but appears to be in private hands now. The field is large enough for most games , but no facilities exists
Good skatepark. Park well maintained. Some druggies like to party in the woods next to the railway line, the odd deal in the skatepark but they seem to keep to themselves. Shame it wasn't linked to the cycle way... Good but popular at peak times for dog walking.
Bring a broom Have all your shots up to date before skating this alright park that’s been trashed by locals
Good field to take your dog on and have a walk. Skate park seems good, hence why its swarming with chavs on an evening.
Druggies paradise avoid at all costs. Only half good part is skate park and that's a mess as kids don't respect it and just abuse with glass smashed and rubbish .drug related items
