There's a football field upon entry at top gates, various paths to the lower park area, where there's seating areas, conker trees among other various types, the band stand, various paths around the park, the bowling green, a basket ball court then there's the play area, teen area with half pipe and seating and there are biking trails, ramps and walking paths in the woods with lots of beautiful nature to enjoy
It's OK, it's been run down for a while and even though some investment has been made its not been spent on things like kids playground. Currently using the money to renovate the victorian band stand which will just end up full of glass and graffiti again.
Queens park, a park that is a neglected space. The children's play ground is closed and abandoned. The public areas are badly kept. It's ok to walk the dog but don't expect any attractions or facility's or even pretty gardens even the bowling green is or appears unused and unloved . Castelford should be ashamed.
Great little park with parking for free plenty of seating and grassed areas for picnic. Basketball court. And great views out to Leeds City centre.
the park looks glorious in the sun, planting in full bloom and the new play ground looking good.
