I have been coming to Castleford-yoga studio for around 6 years to mostly practice Pilates. The class sizes are small and participants are friendly. Marie is fantastic, she goes above and beyond to help in any way she can, she is supportive and very knowledgeable. The classes are interesting and tailored well to participants. I cannot express how much Pilates has helped with back pain, mobility and core strength. Thank you Marie😀⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

When I first joined Marie's classes, I was in a very bad, physical way and sickly nervous about how I would keep up with others. Very quickly Marie put me at ease and I could see how she had created a welcoming and sociable environment, that supported a range of abilities. I've been coming to weekly classes for a year now and still learning more, as well as feeling physically stronger. Marie will create adaptions and not make you feel bad if you can't do it, but will push you in the right direction to feel the benefit of the exercise. I especially like the variety of equipment to try. The balloons have to be my favourite (and funniest) to date.

I attend a yoga and pilates session every week and it really has done wonders for me. The yoga is great for stretching everything out and re-centring and the pilates has built my muscle strength and been a stepping stone towards increasing my overall fitness and energy levels. I used to hate 'exercise' but these sessions are so enjoyable, my brain didn't recognise it as exercise until I had been going for quite a long time! Marie is amazing; welcoming, inclusive and just a lovely person. All bodies are differently able and the lessons are supportive and encouraging of everyone!

Marie is such a fab teacher. I have been going to Castleford Yoga (for pilates mainly but occassionally yoga) for 9 years, which is the longest i have ever committed to any class by far. The classes are really enjoyable whilst being challenging and I wouldnt go anywhere else!

Marie runs an amazing yoga and pilates studio. All of the care without the ego. You can turn up exactly as you are and Marie will adapt and modify to meet your needs. Its why I have been going for years.
