Yorkshire Trading Company (Catterick)

I needed to find a specific item as a matter of urgency. YTC had the item that I needed, so I was well impressed. I paid cash for the item. I save coins ,so I was particularly pleased to find that a two pound coin in my change was a special coin. It was worth £16. What a shop! They had the item I needed, then passed me a £14 profit with my change. What a lucky day. Check your change. If it looks different, check it online eh.

Scruffy store, boxes and loose recycling everywhere, my disabled husband couldn’t even make up most of the aisles, it’s dangerous. with rude staff that couldn’t care less and it isn’t even very cheap! Asked someone where I could find something and she replied “I don’t know I’m new” then turned & walked away! We stood there bemused before walking out empty handed. I don’t understand how it’s even a thing? Found what we needed in Poundland a few stores up with friendly staff and cheaper prices.

What a mess this shop is, health and safety need to come and have a look in here, boxes blocking aisles pushchairs or wheelchairs wouldn't be able to get through. Trip hazards. I also noticed as I walked out the cctv wasn't on maybe because the shop was in such a state and shouldn't be open. Staff obviously don't care

Extremely rude staff. I was shouted away from the door for asking if they close soon before entering, it was 15 minutes before closing time and after i walked away from the front of the store 2 people entered unchallenged. They were better dressed than me and slightly older so i can imagine that may have played a part. Unfortunately the area does not have many options for shopping so i will most likely visit again, hopefully the two member of staff working tonight were just having a bad day.
