Came at 12:00 on 12/12/25. Greeted warmly. Our server Jakub was very friendly & engaging. Food was excellent as always. Our carver Ross W was friendly at the counter. Reasonably priced. We got 20% off using Blue Light Card. We bought a “hot drink and meal” for the homeless which is a very valuable cause.
We were served by Ross C, he was amazing. Great with the kids and a good laugh. Service was fantastic, ready to help anytime we needed. Food was awesome, Yorkshire pudding beef wrap was yummy.
Over the years we’ve been to many places for our family Christmas dinner, but this year we needed a takeaway due to a family member’s health. Honestly, it was such a weight off our minds. Our Christmas Day takeaway was outstanding. Easy booking, a great selection of meats, just as picked, with plenty of food and all the trimmings including pigs in blankets, Yorkshire puddings and gravy, all hot, beautifully packed and absolutely delicious. The staff were so cheerful and helpful and even helped me to the car because the bag was so heavy. The refurbishment looks really lovely too. Back next year for sure. Highly recommended!
The new looking restaurant is lovely. Brighter, warmer, more comfortable seating and a far better layout. As usual, the food was excellent value for money and our favourite waiter, Jean Paul, was as attentive, enthusiastic and entertaining as ever. Avoid mid afternoon as the veggies can be a bit dry. Overall a fabulous experience for anyone.
Ross C was our server and a completely lovely person. Such a kind and caring server and was very attentive. His spirit as he worked was a joy. Such a fantastic experience from him. The rest of the staff were less amazing with borderline rudeness, on many occasions, barging past you or nearly bumping into you with no acknowledgement of it. Customer service was meh. Ross was amazing though
