This was easily the most unprofessional and intimidating experience I’ve ever had in any store. Google said this Subway opened at 8:00 AM, and the sign inside showed 7:00 AM–8:30 PM. We arrived just after 8:00, only for the staff member — who claimed he was the manager — to turn up around 8:20 AM. As soon as he walked in, he stared at us in a really aggressive way that instantly made the place feel uncomfortable. When we politely asked if they were open, he suddenly started shouting and accused us of trespassing. We hadn’t done anything except follow the hours the store itself advertised. Instead of acknowledging he was late, he kept raising his voice and telling us to leave. Then, unbelievably, he called the police on us while we were standing right there. All we had done was wait during their posted opening times, yet he acted as if we were causing trouble. His behaviour was erratic, hostile and completely unacceptable, and we ended up leaving because it didn’t feel safe to stay. It wasn’t just bad service, it was alarming!! No customer should ever be yelled at or reported to the police for simply arriving during advertised opening hours. I really hope management takes this seriously.
This was, without question, the most outrageous, hostile and unprofessional experience I have ever had at any business, and it happened at this Subway. Google showed an opening time of 8:00 AM and the sign inside the store clearly stated 7:00 AM to 8:30 PM. We arrived shortly after 8:00 AM, fully expecting a normal morning visit. Instead, the staff member who later claimed to be the manager did not even bother to show up until around 8:20 AM. The moment he walked in, he fixed us with a hard, aggressive, almost threatening stare that immediately made the atmosphere feel unsafe. When we calmly asked about service, he exploded instantly. No explanation, no conversation, no professionalism. He immediately started shouting that we were trespassing. I have never in my life seen someone in customer service snap like that with absolutely no provocation. The aggression was instant, extreme and completely unnecessary. We pointed out the obvious facts: he was late, and both Google and the sign inside the store stated earlier hours. Instead of taking any responsibility, he escalated even further. He raised his voice louder and louder, yelling at us to get out as if we had done something wrong simply by trusting the store’s own posted times. His behaviour was erratic, hostile and deeply inappropriate. Then he took it to an entirely different level. He actually called the police on us, right there in front of us, claiming we were trespassing even though we were doing nothing except waiting during the hours the store itself advertised. It was unbelievable. Watching someone behave this aggressively, this irrationally and this unprofessionally over something so simple was honestly disturbing. At that point, the situation felt so hostile and unpredictable that we left because it did not feel safe to remain around someone acting in that manner. This was not just bad service. It was disgraceful, alarming and completely unacceptable. No customer should ever be screamed at, threatened or reported to the police for following posted opening hours. I truly hope higher management addresses this, because this behaviour is far beyond anything that can be ignored.
Tried the jacket potatoes. Apperently there's chicken and cheese in there. Portion size way too small for the cost and hardly any chicken or cheese. Won't be having another jacket from here. Stick to the sandwiches
I’ve been coming to this subway since it first opened in 2013 . the service is excellent and their staff are great and are also very quick. They also have great offers and I particularly enjoyed the mango chicken tikka sandwich
Ordered 2 sandwiches from this place whilst I was working. Food never arrived, even though it said on the just eat app that it was delivered, nor did I get a refund or an apology.. probably best to steer clear of this place!! Worst subway in Sheffield.
