I've walked past this shop many times, and decided I would treat myself to a slice of "Dubai chocolate cake". The cakes have always looked very beautiful, so I was 100% percent expecting the look, to match the taste. How wrong I was, especially at £5 a slice. The cake was incredibly stale, it didn't at all taste of chocolate, and it has an awful artificial after taste. I do not believe for one minute that this cake was fresh. Such a shame. It had to go in the bin. I love to support local businesses, but I dont believe I will try Cake Box again unfortunately.

Very fresh cake and a great variety of flavours! The service is very good. It is our favourite bakery for freshly baked cakes. Must try the mango base cakes. They are yummy.. a huge success in our birthday parties 😊

The cake slice was stale and hard to eat, the cream on top was very tough to eat. They seriously fooled us by serving some old cake when I already asked them to give me a fresh one. Be careful all!

I recently tried the chocolate base cake from Cake Box, and it was absolutely delicious — rich, moist, and full of flavour! The service was just as impressive — friendly, quick, and welcoming. Definitely a place I’ll be visiting again for my sweet cravings. Highly recommend! 🎂🍫

we use cakebox for all our celebration cakes they taste superb and the cakes are ever so fluffy we have no allergys here but getting an egg free cake tasting even better than normal is definitely a big factor for our repeat in orders. They are very quick in getting the required writing on and make it look extra special. Never been disappointed at all and the staff are really welcoming and friendly.
