Sainsbury's

ONLINE ORDERS ALWAYS SHORT DATED We regularly use this store for online deliveries but recently the selections have been awful with many short dated items. On a delivery today we had around 15 fresh items, 8 of them go out of date the day after tomorrow! I was passing so went in store on the same day, all of these items were on the shelf with over a week expiry left on them!

This store is in need of a serious update/revamp. It's cluttered and looks tired. Most of all the toilets Ladies are awful. 3 cubicles one has been out of order for months. Middle cubicle has no lock on and the door doesn't close at all. There's a gap which offers absolutely no privacy whatsoever. Sainsbury's you are letting your customers down. Do something about your store have some pride in your appearance!

This was the first time I used Sainsbury's at Dewsbury. Aunty and I were informed by a staff member in store if we use the same nectar card, it would be ok and our shopping would remain separate, as we used the scan and go. We had 2 separate scan and go handhelds. Aunty left her other purse at home with her nectar card in. So off we went to do our shopping. Once we got to the checkout this wasn't the case. Aunty and I had to go to a manned checkout and empty all our shopping and put all our shopping through again. We where helped out by a very nice young man called Yusuf, Yousser. Sorry If I have spelt your name wrong. However he was very helpful, kind, supportive, polite, I feel he went above and beyond his duties. Due to this error and NOT correct information given to us before our shopping trip. We had to empty all our shopping 2 trolleys. We began chatting to this young man who said he only works weekends as he is studying to be a pharmacist. Bless him he was so so helpful I just want to wish him well for his future, all your customers will be lucky to have you, it is nice to know there are some very kind helpful youngsters out there. I/ we felt valued as a customer. A massive THANK YOU again. When we got to the end and paid for our shopping, Yusuf asked Aunty and I to follow him to the customers service desk. He then handed us a £10.00 gift card, for all the inconvenience caused to us. I feel this young man should be acknowledged for his dedication he showed aunty and I. 😘 thank you again good luck in your future. Sainsbury's you should be proud to have this young man as an employee 👏.

Just looking SOOO tired. Fridges and freezers noisy/leaking. The car park trolley bays. Broken. The petrol station and car wash. Broken/dilapidated. No music/atmosphere. Everything else ok/serves its purpose. And the customers are nice. C’mon Sainsbury’s. Stop pleasing shareholders for just 1 year and invest something.

Good store with excellent facilities. Would be good if they could open a cafe, I think that’s all that’s missing in this Sainsbury’s and would be a great addition to the retail park as the closest cafe is in the town centre a 5-10 minute walk away
